How To Fit A Harness

There is a correct way to fit a harness, as shown in the diagrams below. If you don't fit it correctly, then if the worst happened and you were involved in an accident, then at best the harness won't work efficiently, at worst, it can cause you further damage and/or not work at all.

The important part is the angle of the straps as they exit the rear of the seat:

Pretty self explanatory. If you go for a 4-point harness, then you'll need two points to fix behind you, and two lap belts. If going for a 6-point harness, then you'll also need two lower fixings point beneath the seat, which is achieved as shown below:
